Abdulaziz has more than 20 years of financial markets experience. He started his career in 2002 at the Saudi British Bank (SABB) and, in 2003, was appointed one of the first financial planners at the bank, servicing the branch network’s clients. In 2004, he joined HSBC Saudi Arabia Asset Management in the Product Development team. In 2014, he was appointed Head of Product Development, leading the team. His final role at HSBC Saudi Arabia was Head of Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance, where he managed the bank’s entire compliance function. 

As Chief Operating Officer of GIB Capital, Abdulaziz is responsible for operations, operational improvements, quality, and all business support functions.

Abdulaziz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia, USA, and is a Certified Personal Financial Planner from the Institute of Banking, Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Riyadh.
