Abdulaziz has more than 20 years of financial markets experience. He started his career in 2002 at the Saudi British Bank (SABB) and in 2003 was appointed as one of the first financial planners of the bank servicing the clients of the branch network. In 2004, Abdulaziz joined HSBC Saudi Arabia Asset Management in the Product Development team. In 2014, he was appointed as Head of Product Development, leading the product development team. His last appointment with HSBC Saudi Arabia was as Head of Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance department, where he managed the entire compliance function of the bank. As the Chief Operating Officer of GIB Capital, Abdulaziz is responsible for operations, operational improvements, quality and all the business support functions within GIB Capital. Abdulaziz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia, USA. He is also a Certified Personal Financial Planner from Institute of Banking, Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Riyadh.
